What if the greyed out "Join Guild" button was switched to a "Leave Guild" button that made you loose membership and suffer a reputation penalty?
I realize this isn't a big problem, but at times you might find out you joined the wrong temple. Or you do not wish to be a member of the thieves guild or dark brotherhood anymore. Allthough it strikes me that those two might say "No one leaves the guild!"
