Claustrophobic fog mod

Talk about the mods or features you'd like to see in Daggerfall Unity. Give mod creators some ideas!

Claustrophobic fog mod

pango informed me that some players feel classic DF is a scarier game due to its limited view distance. In a sort of Silent Hill-ish way, not being able to see more than 5 meters ahead of you makes it feel like anything could truly be out there.

A mod could be made to apply fog effect(s) to dungeons and the night, either at random or permanently, to grant this effect again. I believe fog is in DFU currently but not constantly nor to the blinding extent it was in classic.

Totally agree. But I wonder if it possible to merge fog nearby with visible distant mountains a la Distant Terrain mod? This would recreate Classic DF feeling where you can see distant forest and hills (skybox), while still unable to see anything nearby. That was eerie.

Probably it would be nice to increase the chance of such creepy fog wheather overall.
