Roguelite new game benefits

Was just thinking that it would be cool for iron man style games of some benefits to roll over to new characters when one character dies. Probably not possible...but things like 10% of xp saved, making choosing the ebony dagger contingent on beating the main quest with a previous character, guild rank etc...
