Message log

Talk about the mods you'd like to see in Daggerfall Unity. Give mod creators some ideas!

I like this idea and it really should be part of an overall Quest tracker and log.
The game is woefully lacking in that respect.

TBH something like this should be a feature of DFU.

A proper journal.

Had another look at this and I've got this working, any main quest dialogue detected from NPCs will get recorded into your notebook, even if it's mid quest: (My character's name was Main QuestTest, boring I know :lol: )

As you can see from this one the message from the KOW in Scourg Barrow is there (that's mid quest)

And after the quest is completed you get the quest complete message:

I did have to make a small change to core code for this, so will have to wait until that's merged in, but just to let you know this idea is still being looked at.
