Dust on the fan blades isn't too bad, although it lowers efficiency. Dust in the fan, though, that's bad. :)
It was a bit foggy :D
To be honest Windows 10 doesn't even support my chipset or motherboard anymore, and that's a freaky thing to find out.
Oh well upgrades are fun, come on payday....

***edit** I mean, I hope it's fun

You might want to hold off on those upgrades, because Ryzen 3000 is probably not far off, NVIDIA is still releasing GPUs, and last I checked, there were no formal, 3rd-party Radeon VII reviews. :)

OTOH, if you want the absolute best for gaming right now, that's a 9900k, and an RTX 2080 Ti. :)

Edit: That being said, we should probably stop de-railing this thread. :)

Finally some news. I finally got around to shipping the harddrive out. It should get to the company by thursday. Then they should evaluate it within 24 hours and I should know if its fixable or if I can back most of it up by then.

"Unfortunately, we regret to inform you that while performing a thorough evaluation, we discovered severe damage, which is beyond recovery capabilities. For this reason, we will have to deem your project unrecoverable."

I'll be doing some deep searches on my other drives for any files that might be on there but anything that was on the drive is now lost. Some of my projects will have to be restarted from scratch while others will have to be reupdated.

Oh no...
So us having the mod doesn't mean anything ?
Like you can't use the mod I have to work on the mod ?
Yeah I'm a bonehead I just play games, still it's my idea :D
( I know, it's a bad idea isn't it  )

Yes, thankfully many of these mods are salvageable from on-line storage. The quest system is entirely workable, for example. So this is a loss but not a total loss.

Yeah, the one quest file I sent you has all the basics for the new version. I just need to rewrite everything. It's just long tedious work. As for the hi-res sprite project I was working on that will have to be restarted from scratch.
