Also, there is a bug for me, which was there even in previous versions.
When I enable Postfilter chroma noise reduction the process finishes seemingly without any errors, but the final image does not appear.

But there is a error msg at the end of the log. I cant copy/paste it, its out of focus, and if I click Ok it disappears.
So here is the screen. Error msg at the end

I'll check the chroma bug.
You can find the error in the log.txt file after processing.

here's the model i used : http://wowsatsuki.free.fr/Satsuki.v1.pth.7z
just extract it and put it in the folder :"\esrgan\models" then in the GUI choose the model "Satsuki.v1.pth" and "use model 1 only"

gona check the chroma filter bug

i've tested on 3 computers and can't reproduice your chroma noise reduction bug.
gona test some more but your computer seems to have issue with modern picture softwre ^^'

Yes, theres something off with my PC in regards to the CUDA/CUDNN, nevermind :)
But the CUDA9.2 helped, now the esrgan works and thats good

I think I like the Cartoon Painted result a bit more in this case. Both did a pretty good job on the scrolling arrows, especially the top one.

Nice, yes the top one is Imo better, more sharp/defined textures etc
But compared to the 1st one you send, that one is the best imo.

I think I like the Cartoon Painted result a bit more in this case. Both did a pretty good job on the scrolling arrows, especially the top one.
Try running that top result through SFTGAN. It really helps to bring out the detail in the stone texture.

1.08 ready:
-Corrected an overflow bug with big batch files
-Added an option to split the source file in 16 smaller pictures before esrgan processing, with this you can process big file you can't process because of gpu ram limits, but it can generate clipping ... for tests ^^

Thanks for update mate!

Any idea why ESRGAN 4x works
6x produces the same output resolution as 4x
and 8x doents finish?

No pre processing, no post filter

I upscale 50x50pixels file on GTX970
That was on 1.07
