One should appear in wilderness, because I have indeed switched off "start in dungeon".

But one should not fall down through the ground :D

Positioning in the wilderness is more messy, because it depends on terrain generator.
I don't know how to fix the issue, but I can certainly understand that this setting can be troublesome.
When a measure becomes a target, it ceases to be a good measure.
