[WIP] Toulouse-Lautreckified Sprites

Hi all, I'm not a big fan of the AI upscaling efforts for Daggerfall's dated graphics, so I've been playing around with spiffying up the character sprites using my own chaotic mix of different filters in GIMP. My goal is to make them a) artistic, b) faithful to the vanilla style, and c) well-suited to be combined with KoW's DREAM mod. Here's some of the results so far. I'd love to to get some feedback, as I am not a professional artist! Each of these takes a lot of manual effort, but I'm planning to do this to all of the NPC and MOB sprites if I have time and there's interest from the DF Unity community.

Ok, I realized that the new version of Topaz Gigapixel has an art upscaling mode that does some pretty impressive work with the flats... here's some new attempts that mix upscaling and some manual work in GIMP. What do you all think?
