Sweet. Wrapping up minimap mod in the next day or two, and I'm going to come back to my work on getting these in game.

Man, I need to finish rebuilding my minimap mod so I can get back to this funner stuff of getting models into the game. Love the work.

I totally realized that perfectionism killed my flow. I could have finished the wilderness overhaul within a week as I initially planned, but it didn't feel good enough, so now I'm still stuck at perfectioning the temperate woodlands rather than finally finishing the whole thing and putting it out there. The devil quite literally is within the detail.

Lovely models :) Agreed with the discussion about dwelling onto the details. On the other hand, I love polishing Dream still :D

We mentioned something similar with Hrafnyx a while ago in this thread.

There's always room to go into many itty bitty nitty details even long after most people would consider the project done, though there's a healthy balance between that and getting it actually done.
I think my best method of approach is to just chug along. Any perfectionist changes I should reserve for after it is done.

Well anyway, looks like this project is going to be done soon as I'm halfway through the werewolf.
This mindset is definitely working for me.

Keep pumping the beautiful work out.

I still have all my work from the horse models and animations I was able to script in. Once I get back to that and polish off the horse, it will be much easier to duplicate and tweak the scripts for the other models using the horse script as the base.

I dropped a new version of the magical compass mod. I'm hoping this is the final stable release, so I can move most my modding focus off of it and back to the models. There was something so soothing about seeing a 3d horse walking around the daggerfall world and following me into the wilderness.

Did you get to use the Photoshop template I made for you?
