Over the last couple of days I've been working on a mod, that adds a lootmenu feature to DF, for real-time and more convenient looting. The mod is now in a working-ish state. I have decided to release it in a beta state first, so you can test it for m- I meant can try it out early. (The beta will probbably last a couple of days)
Please report all bugs.
Known bugs:
The vertical centering of text is not perfect
Setting the font size too high can lead to visually unpleasing effects.
Note: I have not ditched Bestiary and will continue to work on it.
P.S: KoW, could you make me a high def version of this texture?
So this is what you wanted my scroll art for. Well, I approve sir. Like the updated loot mechanics, and I like how the aesthetics fits into the original.
Did you load the scroll through the streaming assets folder? If so, that be great, because then the user can update the art to whatever they want also by merely replacing the file.
That scroll art is indeed nice I3lessed, as well as the mod Shapur.
I did the AI upscale, removed the black background which is created during that process, tested it ingame, decided to smooth out the scroll a bit after the AI pass and added slight darker shade towards the edges, so it fits the scenes better (bright or dark)
So here is the DREAM style scroll and a ingame shot with default settings from 16:10 (1920x1200) monitor

Thanks,
I don't remember asking you for the scroll art. (That was someone else probably) I looked through some of Daggerfall's UI images and slapped it together independently of you, I think before you published your own scroll.
I load the scroll texture through streaming assets. I packed the scroll texture into the .dfmod, or did you mean it might be worth it to include it as a loose file instead, to be easily modifiable?

Oh, so funny, we did the same thing I guess. Yeah, sorry, confused you.
I personally would recommend using the streaming assets folder, and loading the raw image file through a direct code method and not through the prepackaged mod system. This would allow your users to easily take the image and modify it however they want for the mod. It would also encourage users to create and share custom art for the mod. It's your design choice really, but I always believe the more control on the user end, especially with things like mods and open community projects, the better for everyone.
