:) My PS skills are rising, started at zero so its not a surprise

I improved one thing with the winter roofs. In original, they were all the same, no matter which region you are at. Now there are 3 kind of winter roofs

You should rest and meditate on what you've learned. :) Those roofs are looking great.

Haha thanks, Ive dropped to the ground completely exhausted anyway, so the rest was inevitable ;)

...here are the new mountain walls in winter (summer version is ready as well) They are made from huge blocks same size as vanilla. Plus u can see the mountain roofs again

Also, VMBlast gave us a great christmas present and that is 26 very nice textures I can use as he is busy now. They will come handy for sure, great quality! I tryed few of them now to make a v2 of the desert walls and I so far like the results, my normal maps might need some tweaking tho

This is the last wall set to do and that is jungle - this one just works, I added some vertical lianes going up in v2

And version 1000 of the jungle roofs, very hard to create something fitting, but this one finally seems to work

...and jungle winter time. I darkened the green lianes and vegetation, covered it with snow... it looks very different but its the same source texture as for the summer jungle ;) This concludes my work on the city walls and roofs for all the seasons... uff

Temperate winter set... almost destroyed my PC while doing it, this is 10th version Id say :lol: There are seems in between the tiles, but thats in vanilla game as well, you will not notice it if you dont look for it and just play tho

I decided on some changes
- there is ice covered with snow instead of a water
- you can very slightly see the materials under the snow

Reasoning:
water = self explanatory
not so thick snow = this is temperate woodland. I think we should save the thick layer of snow for the mountain regions. Considering the creators left the standard water in this region in winter, this was not ment to be the hard core winter anyway. HC winter will be in mountains. Thick snow everywhere etc... this will increase the variety of the game, same approach as I did with the new - region specific - winter roofs.

This is more realistic Id say

My only suggestion is to maybe use cobblestone_d_1024.png (from the pack) for the cobble stone floor. It is much closer to the original style. Other than that, great work ;)

Hi, thanks for suggestion. Yes thats right, I just had to downscale it to 512*512 so it fits the rest of the set
EDIT: HOW you create those snow textures pls? Looks awesome!
