Jungle Winter - terrain sprites question

There is this discrepancy in the jungle winter setting.

The terrain ground has a snow texture, buildings and city walls have snow variants as well, but the terrain sprites (trees, flowers, rocks etc) do not have it. They only have their summer variants.

This mix of summer and winter theme looks wrong to me.

Is there any way to include the winter variant for these sprites? I think I can create them - if there is any way to make them appear in the game.
