The Lamia and Seducer are in-game.

The armor duplicates are used to complement the various body shapes in Daggerfall. If I understand correctly, they're needed for the Khajiit, Argonian, and all other races. If it sounds like a waste to have four sets of identical clothing just because of a few pixels' difference on the bodies, you're probably right

All horseback NPCs, like the guards and random enemies on horses, do not exist in ordinary Daggerfall. A popular hack named Andyfall used them.

Thanks Jay_H, this is exactly the type of info we need here, I added it to the catalogue!

I have more questions:

- are the painting textures used ingame? sets 048, 148, 348, 448?
- two E3 temporary sets - 100 / 101 - was it only used for a E3 expo?
- other temp sets, like 332 - Temp big Doors
- what about those "test" sets? 186 - test big flats, 185 - test noble replace, 446 - direni test set, 099,
- woodland test set 054 - used? Seems quite highres compared to the rest.
- and "kludge" sets? 194, 195, 197, 198... what is it?
- male/female artifacts (432 and 433)?
- dungeon "faces" like set 025, 125, 325, 425, used?
- 202 art, used?
- 005 steppes, what is it? Used?
- 002 test - used?
- 003 winter - ?
- 004 rain - does the textures change when rain or what is this?
- 330 / 329 have reversed names

- Swamp temple 461 and 462 are identical
- Swamp Ruins 407 and 408 are identical, but 408 is called snow. That means, we should add snow to 408
- Same problem with 307 and 308 - Woodland ruins, are identical, but 308 is called snow. That means, we should add snow to 308
- 029 / 030 - identical, 017 / 018 - identical, 007 / 008 - ident. (those are desert sets, is it because the other set is for snow and it doesnt snow there?)

- 012 / 013 which one is ingame, or both? Same with 014 / 015
- 380 (blood and gore+) and 434 (blood and gore CHILD) - whats the relation, if any?

self notes
0xx - desert
1xx - mountain
3xx - woodland
4xx - swamp

I found this page, it lists unused graphics, sounds, music...
I will add the valuable info to the catalogue.
The best part is, that now I know why there are two bears in the textures. One has more fluid animations. And it is NOT used. That is what we can change! Very good!!

Just a curiosity, unused title screen of sorts, I upscaled it with Waifu 2x so you can enjoy it in all its beauty!

I also gathered 10 unused tracks for Daggerfall, and they are all very good, we should implement all of those back to game.

You can listen to it here

I'm pretty sure that track 25 is not unused, I used to hear it a lot when travelling at night in vanilla Daggerfall

Maybe you are right but in my opinion I dont think so :) Some of the tracks sound very similar to the actual tracks used in Dagger tho.For me track no16 is like that - reminds me something I used to hear ingame :)

It sounds similar to 11.HMI, which is used when traveling at night, though not quite the same. There are several more tracks, mainly sparse dungeon tracks found inside the game to add there, as well as more not in the game's data at all, but released by Bethesda as previews. (Those will be in the prerelease page.)
