I'm on a quest for the Temple of Arkay in the Tower of Kinging, and I came across this strange little door:
I'm not sure what exactly happened but my gut's telling me the dungeon spawned it in way too low.

Hi,
This happens in classic game too, so it's probably in dungeon data...
Example in The Host of Fost dungeon in Sentinel:

Interesting. So maybe it's supposed to be a half-door? It does have a different texture to all the other ones. Hopefully one of this forum's resident experts can clear this up.

I didn't mean to imply it was intentional; Daggerfall world is huge, procedurally generated for the most part, and some issues have not been detected/fixed before release. For example some rare dungeons have parts that are not connected to the entrance. Or in some large house for sale you cannot take the stairs to the first story because some invisible ceiling blocks the way. Etc.
In my opinion in this case it's most probably a bug (as you noticed it's a tavern door no less).
What I meant is that Daggerfall Unity is probably just faithfully rendering this dungeon original brokenness. As such, overriding the dungeon geometry should be considered an improvement, rather than a plain bug fix...

I've seen these misplaced doors as well. You'll also find cases where two doors are right sitting on top of each other. This is just another of those problems where bad game data is being read into Daggerfall Unity from classic files.

I wonder if "double doors" can happen where two modules meet, and each one provides a door?

Seen that many times already in dungeons.
