Ok, just learned something. You can switch between several transparency modes, with Enter or F2/F3/F4, so it is possible to remove the upper room from view:
I still find the door surprizing hard to see, given the higher resolution at our disposal. I'm not sure why, classic map uses a lower FOV or something?

Switch into 3d mode, it's much better.
