Linux #138: Enemy spells launch PC into air [RESOLVED]

This is rare enough that I don't know how to reproduce, but it happened in a dungeon. An enemy launched a long-distance no-damage spell at me. When it connected, I was actually thrown against the ceiling and stayed there for about 2 seconds before gravity returned.

I don't remember whether spells in classic cause horizontal push, but vertical push didn't exist.

Something like that happened to me too, in Build #139 on Windows, except it was with an arrow. It launched me against the ceiling for a splitsecond.

It's the 3D projectiles that came with the last live build.
Be patient I'm sure it will be fixed, and it doesn't really break anything it just looks funny.
Just watch the arrows Wiz by you through the air, that's what I do :D

Do you mean 139? Because I reported this earlier than that. (I don't know anything about the 3D projectiles.)

It said something about spells on GitHub when I was checking it out.

The arrows thing was in last live build I think, the arrows look 3d.
That might not be it, I just remember seeing something about the Spells being affected to on GitHub.

On an unrelated side note, I keep "seeing gusts of wind blow past me" so there is that :D

Yeah, bad guy arrows make me fly back, still have to see the spell thing.
But, you can dodge them, and I don't remember doing that in classic.

We need a slow mode mod now for my planned matrix musical (yes, Im joking dont worry, Unless Im not :D ).

I'm pretty sure that's my Perpetual Quests. I messed up by making them dud out way too frequently. Now I reduced that so you'll be getting real quests much more often. You can download the newest version off of my github.

Missiles like spells and arrows now use a more physical collider setup, which changed a few releases back - but they shouldn't push around mobiles or player, that's a bug. I'll get this one sorted soon once I have time to look into more.
