In the Mage's Guild quest where you are asked to cast "the standard circinate Sleep spell" on the victim of a curse of sleeplessness, if you enter the house where the target is, then leave, then re-enter, the target becomes hostile and attacks. However, the quest can be completed by casting the Sleep spell on the target and running out of the house.

A recent fix to enemy pacification handling will resolve this also.
