A few years ago I tried to modify Cure Lycantropy quest for original Daggerfall from Bethesda Softworks to add a new branch to it.
I found that those special quests (unlike ordinary) have very strict limits on a file size, so once the quest became longer, it couldn't start (either displaying stub message like "I had a job, but..." or no message at all).
I hope, there is no such problem with DFU, so how do you guys feel about creating such mod?

Writing a quest is very easy. If it weren't, I wouldn't be able to do it I'm up to my shoulders in quest ideas already so I couldn't take part directly but it's a simple task -- much easier than what making quests in DF was.

IC. But the question was if anyone needs such extension. Or maybe Cure Lycantropy quest is perfect and should not be touched at all?
