Well, since you ask for opinions...
For the first one my choice would be definitely right: fierce rather than annoyed.
I don't like to annoy people, and angry faces just make me feel somewhat bad, whether I'm involved or not.
For the second I'm more undecided... left one looks quite exhausted, but that could make sense if he's been working hard. Could be interesting as a starting point for telling stories (drama!).
But in general I prefer healthy and/or satisfied faces, empathy and all that... I must be getting old

Thanks, I think the conclusion is clear, and its the one I felt is the best as well.
Adrinus basicaly summed it up in the last screens - thank you!
I will just touch up the belly of the 1st one with a bowl, under that bowl there some kind of hard spike.. and legs.. we have better version of these as well.

Well, I have my doubts about this sprite...
This is the basic remastered version And this was adjusted for me, I laters tryed to adjust it further, but it seems still somehow off... maybe the basic one with your touch would be better, if you want to do some work on it laters... or is this one ok and Im just seeing things?

Yes man, seems much more natural and fitting! I will do just a minor tweaks, but this is just it
Ive updated all the NPCs to the latest versions today, it can get very messy with so many files and duplicates, but its done, uff..
I have some sprites on mind... I will create a pack tomorrow and send it to you, and you will see if you want to work your magic on these
plus if you want, I can send you latest version of all NPC sprites as well. Incase you would like to just go thru and pick anything that catches your eye laters.
