Ahh so that's what it is..
That modded map has never worked right yet.
It sure is pretty though..

Ive added a 6.66mb (2000 x 2717 pixels) Daggerfall poster to the front page download links, its the best poster Ive found on internet. It originates from the SCORE, which is a legendary paper magazine in the 90s from the Czech republic.

I have manually cleaned the dust and scratches and the middle fold line, corrected colors and than AI sharpened it all. It looks quite badass. Its deffo the best version of that poster you can get anywhere now... Zoom in and see for yourself  Now u can print it and have something nice to hang on the wall next to that little pony poster of yours ;)

Plus the front page art and text were updated

Damn! That poster looks great! Definitely the best out there.... and now there's a copy on my pc. Awesome work, as always! Also saw the "How I started" addition. Was fun to look at the humble beginnings!

Glad you like it. And yea, I stumbled upon those old threads of mine and found it somehow charming, so I linked them for the sake of history keeping :)
Be well!

Yea these lights are effed, I hate them. These are not even modded. Lets wait for Alexander Sigs new version of Models, it will replace these and it will be over. Thanks for report :)

I just finished the main quest for the second time (and first time in Daggerfall Unity).
Overall, the Mantellan Crux worked well, in fact it was much less clunky than in Daggerfall classic ;)

Anyway, back to DREAM!
I think the textures made the "skulls" puzzle significantly easier than in classic...

In classic, as far as I know, the only distinctive feature of the correct skull is that it has no jaw...

Hi mate, well... there is only one human skull sprite.

There are no two similar human skulls in the sprites section where only difference would be a missing jaw.
I think you either remember it not correctly, or somehow there is a change between the Vanilla and DFU?
I dont think this is DREAM related, just checked all the sprites.

Pls correct me if Im wrong, but I cant see anything wrong on my side atm

EDIT: OK IM WRONG :D

Its these two:

Now what? :D

I will check how the originals look like and decide
Thanks for reports!

EDIT 2:
Ok after looking at it, I think this puzzle will be always easier than 320x200 original with 60x60 sprites if we take the similar approach and just erase the jaw.. Lets think about something else, some different approach to distinct these two skulls.

1st idea is, to use the same skull model as the other skulls and rotate it 180 degrees. Similar way as it is now, but all skulls will be the same model and color etc.

2nd idea... all skulls are rorated in a same way, just this one has small gem in the eye, not too visible.

Damn, Im bad at this, I dont want to make this impossible hard, and not so easy as it is now neither  HELP!

Maybe I will just remove the teeth from its jaw?

Sorry for nitpicking, couldn't find any bigger issues :D

Removing teeth? Mmmh why not, if that's not too difficult to get right...
