Ive found my way around it - the dream sequences - the voiceovers are played before the actual animations and soundtracks start, and I used dehisser on them and the results are really good this way.
What might be done is the intro sequence with the book etc. Having a clean voice and using some track as a background. Not sure if you want to try that But Ive spend some time on making that as good as possible, its now much better than the muffled sound from the Rhymers video. I used Pangos cleaned version and I added new drums prelude to that instead of the original extra bad ones. Plus I added one orchestra hit towards the end. In the middle its just Pangos work.
Ive spend whole day on all the sounds. But indeed, that one sequence can be much better still...
