Oh. Any idea how I can do that in the launcher? Like, do I go to mod settings or advanced?

Advanced → Enhancements → click 'Item based player torch' at the bottom-left.

oh, what I meant was how do I adjust the **brightness within the dungeon** in general. My PC monitor had just broken down and I'm using a 32" TV from our kitchen which is underused as a temporary replacement. The pixels on the TV makes the dungeon appear way darker than it really is.

Oh, excuse me, I completely misunderstood you. Unfotunately I'm not sure how to help in this case. I think it's better to post a new topic in Help & Support regarding this issue, your question will attract more attention then.

Thank you so much for the help everyone !! So just a little update on the problem I had previously **which is now finally solved**

So I tried fiddling with the default lighting from the DFU launcher settings but it only improved ever so slightly and not long after it just dawned on me that I could:-

( Go to my Nvidia control panel --> Adjust Desktop Color Settings --> Gamma / Brightness ) = [ Worked Amazingly ]
+
( Download and try **Improved Interior Lighting - by Shortbeard** as per KoW's recommendation in his/her original post ) = [ Adjusted the dungeon lighting treshold and radius and increased it just a little bit more to my preference and now, o.m.g yess ]

I can finally enjoy both DFU & D.R.E.A.M to the fullest \o/

Hey, I downloaded and installed DREAM and it works great except for one thing - my character sprite still looks the same old, same old. I've noticed on other people's games it's smooth like the other textures. What do I need to do to fix this? Thanks!

There's over 40k sprites for the character models, each needing its own minute changes for every possible race.

That's alot of work. We've managed to make it all procedurally up-scaled, and I've put a bit of work into it, but it didn't really yield results as good as we'd have hoped for. In many ways it made the models look more cartoonish than the original graphics.

There's still work being done to make it happen, but it's a really difficult task requiring a master of art and coding, and coding related specifically to art. It's a rare mix.

EDIT: In case you wanted to play with what I had so far: https://www.mediafire.com/file/nd6hlju5 ... es.7z/file

I don't have any idea what you're talking about. What I'm saying is that something messed up and my character sprite didn't get changed like everything else. I'm not asking you to implement anything here...I'm saying that I've watched other players with DREAM and their character models were updated and mine isn't - so there's a problem I need to fix. Did you look at the screenshot?
