This is the only non persistent setting for me. Its strange. I observe this problem ever since this feature was included. No idea why. Did it on win 7 and now on win 10 as well. When I update to new release I create new folder,no overwriting the old stuff.

But this setting.ini is placed elswhere so this should not influence it neither.

Other settings stick as they should...

I've only experienced that when I run an old build that removed more recent settings. The setting you're after is in controls section of settings.ini and should be

Code: Select all

BowDrawback = True

The next release I plan to add the following:
  • Improved enhanced horseriding where the horse follows the terrain.
  • Usable bandages.
  • Restrict boarding owned ship to places with a port.
  • Item rebalancing. (maybe) More expensive cart, lighter arrows etc.

Well, it always looks weird accessing your ship from deep inside mainland :lol:

Just be aware that this is based on the original DF game data, so I take no responsibility for any stupid ones. :lol:

The idea is making some passively used skills (Etiquette and language skills, Stealth) more interactive. If you're interested, I'll explain details.

Hi hazelnut, Ive created a test for a horse. Try it and let me know pls. If it works as it should, I will do some touch-ups on it and create a card as well :)
