There is now way I can keep the original footsteps sounds and use your mod as well :X

I think the version inside the mod was missed in the bump. It still seems to report 0.1.3 in the Daggerfall Unity mod setup screen.

Ah oops, ignore the mod version that it displays. It is the correct file, but I forgot to update the displayed version xD

That was probably caused by a bit of wonkyness with the version data field in the mod builder. I've had it happened several times that I change the mod version in the mod builder and then build the mod. This does not commit the change to the file. So I always save the change, then check that the version number is actually updated in the mod file, then I build.

Hi, this mod ceased to work somewhere after DFU 0.13
I used it for adding a echo in the dungeons, but that function is gone as well as all others
The source code is here, maybe rebuilding might solve it? Not sure if Josh is still around DFU as he is busy with his Ardenfall RPG project.

He seems to have something of the same problem Distant Terrain had, where the PostProcessing code has been changed for 0.13.
This is how it was fixed for Distant Terrain, which might point Josh in the right direction:
