I like the idea of adding tips to the loading screens. We all know Daggerfall is easy to play and understand, but many people haven't played it that much. ;)

I see, this is the way to do it then. I could use the opportunity and add an optional press-a-key-to-continue, like Dishonored 2 for example.

  • Support for Daggerfall Unity 0.4.12
  • More customization
  • As suggested by Lypyl, every loading screen will last for a minimum of x.y seconds
    to avoid unpleasant blinking. Set to 0 to disable this feature.
  • (optional) Press-any-key-to-continue after loading.

When are the loading screens supposed to appear? I enabled them in Linux 61 but going into a dungeon and fast traveling didn't make them show. I have them on minimum 1 second to ensure I'd see them.

Also, the death screen didn't show, and the death video played when I disabled it. Here are my settings:

Open DaggerfallUnity_Data\output_log.txt and search for

ModManager - started loading mod: Loading Screen

Look if there are any errors below.

Nice, where did you get them? Anyway, you can use any image you want with the loading screen.

output_log.txt wasn't generated in the folder :(
