have many people been playing this main quest change?
i'm quite curious to give it a go, together with the new unlevelled spells mod - would probably feel like quite a different game, with some shared mechanics!

The VIO mod has currently been removed from the Nexus by its author.
Is your new main quest still winnable without VIO? (Or will the attacks in the cities be too much?)

The answer is in the "required files" section on Nexus
Villager Immersion Overhaul This is not required, but it adds defensive AI needed for city attacks. Use it if possible.

I read that but actually it did not answer my question.
You seem to recommend VIO very much. But as VIO is not available currently (and does not look good with DREAM anyway) I wonder how this affects your quest. How much harder will it be, for example?

I don't see what difference you're pointing out... Here's what I have in the quest file:It seems to me that in the code of the ANMQ01 quest it should be like this:

Ah, now I see it. Thanks for that. I suppose I could, but people who play it multiple times might not read the text fully and may click on "yes" expecting to be on the Redguard's side.
That said, this is all theoretical for now; since I've only built one of the two campaigns, both options lead to the Orcs anyway Maybe someday if I get a really good idea for the Redguard campaign, I could write one. But my past ideas have been terrible, and I refuse to dedicate time to something I know will just be bad.
