In the launcher front end, it should look like this, the second one is what you should see in the mod part.
Do you see any of this ?
I'm assuming you put the right mod file in the mods folder (the Windows one) ?
You open the zip, find the windows one, extract it into the mods folder, and it should show up..

Yes I installed the mod as it should. I do not see where the problem is.

Ok, when you downloaded everything, did you "unblock" everything before you installed it ?
I have to unblock everything first on Win10 or stuff gets funky.
Right click on the Zip, properties, then check unblock, apply.
If you dident do it first, you should reinstall everything (unblocking first).

Also, if you're coming from another build, you should "restart" in the launcher each time in the new one, it sets your stuff up to work with the new build (like when you first installed DFU).

Does Real grass show settings or it has the same issue? Try to do a clean installation of the new build, without overwriting the old one, if you did. If it doesn't help please start the game, open the mod manager window, close the game and send me output_log.txt. :)

I don't quite remember the structure of this mod, so this might make zero sense, but did you just put the correct .dfmod file for your operation system into the mods folder? Or did you put the whole extracted folder into it?

I'm thinking he didn't unblock something, it looks like he's got the right .dfm file in there, and it's showing up.
DFU isn't making a .json file maybe..
Look in Mods folder, do you see anything that ends in .json, and you should see a Mod_settings docu..
Don't know what happens when you put the wrong .dfm docu in.
Don't worry we'll get to the bottom of it, and it sounds like you know what you're doing, that's a plus.

So under windows 7, it is not possible to unblock the zip file. I put the .dfmod files in the "Mods" folder.
DFU detects the mod well and that is why it is displayed in the mods window.
The mod "Realgrass" does exactly the same thing, no "setting" appears.

An exception is raised by a function that doesn't exists anymore.
Please remove completely all game files and do a clean install of latest version.

I have uninstalled ALL. Mods + original game + backup + file "user" + DFU.
I installed the latest Daggerfall version

After 5 attempts to uninstall and install, DFU is working properly, but the "output_log.txt" is identical.
I specify that I have not installed any mod, no correction etc .... just the original game + the "DaggerfallGameFiles.zip" + DFU 64bits

Despite the alerts of the file "outlog", I still installed the mods "realgrass" and "postprocess" ..... and it works.
