I remember Childguard in Classic may have had this effect, but I have not enabled anything like that - nor do I think Daggerfall Unity has this option.
Does Daggerfall Unity have this blood impact sprite effect? Its possible I may be conflating a Classic feature upon Unity...
Edited. I apologize because I failed to check Bug Report Guidelines before I posted this, and have now edited it with requested information:
When using a Bow, a hit upon an NPC combatant doesn't display a blood spatter sprite to accompany the hit. This has been consistent for at least the current build, and those of the past month [May Builds - Lycanthropy.]
To reproduce this bug, I need to attack an NPC with a bow and successfully hit them.
Mods installed are:
Daggerfall Unity Quest Pack #1 by Jay_H
Daggerfall Remasted Music Project by ByteMixer
Tamriel Mixdown by Helegad [modification to the DAGGER.SND file to impart more dynamic range]
I have attached my output log file, a screenshot of the 'bug,' and my latest savegame with bow equipped and an enemy to dispatch with it if testing is desired.
