Thanks for the kind words. It was really nice to have a bit more freedom and do something where I could be creative but still within the general Daggerfall design constraints, but not so restrictive as having to duplicate an existing implementation. As I said it really snowballed and incorporated several suggestions from various people on the forums as well as something I've wanted to improve for months. (typing in some weird dungeon name, I think by the fourth attempt it's not adding much except frustration, but I always wondered it it was just me)
