Check the keybinds UI in classic and DFU. Sneak and crouch are totally different keybinds and have different purposes mechanically. Crouch is for going under stuff, sneak is for moving slower and increasing chance of sneak success.
Yes, I did check the keybinds in classic just a minute ago, twice to make sure. There is no sneak key in my classic interface. Only a crouch key.

Nah, you've just missed it. Jay beat me with a screenshot.
Stealth in DFU works very closely to classic, I understand even the formulas were reverse engineered. You don't
have to use the half-speed sneak key, it just helps.

Im am checking my classic game install. Perhaps we are looking at different versions of classic.
