I plan to add the large quarter-screen HUD in alpha sometime. The circular compass is part of this HUD, so it will become available then. But the fullscreen HUD is also just as much classic Daggerfall, and I believe is preferred by the most users, which is why that was implemented first in DFU.

I don't have any plans to implement the Cursor Mode movement at this time though. But this will be a natural outgrowth of some changes planned to support large HUD. I might just add it so that those who enjoy that style of movement can finally enable it.

I always preferred curser mode because I hate the stuck mouse. I never used the mouse for movement though. Just attacking because the mouse is not stuck in curser mode.(It would be nice if the mouse was unstuck in view mode as well) If course in unity I use the click to attack to simulate this as somewhat of a substitute except I cant choose attack directions. So really, I havent got anything I want in unity version as far as the controls. I just make do with an imperfect UI.
