DFU - https://ibb.co/1rzbMgt

Classic - https://ibb.co/bPv4XKK

Why are DFU armor ratings double that of classic? (except for shields)

EDIT: After searching other key words I did find a couple posts that says its a display glitch. But, if thats the case, why arent shields also fixed? The armor ratings on shields make little sense.

Classic's display problem. When equipped in classic, your armor rating is double what the text box shows.

In DFU, the equipped rating matches the text box.

Thats not true though, not in my game anyway. - https://ibb.co/9tcFvgt https://ibb.co/bPv4XKK The equipped rating is the same as the info rating.

The text box says 3, and the number by the boots says 6.

Ah right, I see what you are saying now. What about shields?

In the case of weapons (viewtopic.php?f=4&t=2300), it's been shown that the in-game displayed damage ranges in classic were double the actual damage ranges applied. But I understand from the above that armor had the opposite problem - the displayed armor modifiers in classic were only half the actual armor modifiers applied. Is this really the case from researching the game code?
