The change made recently to default the inventory to have wagon selected and remove function active when near exits is really very annoying if fighting immediately. Tonight I entered a dungeon, and went to light my lantern and instead ended up moving it into my wagon. Then I was beset by 3 foes and when I went to switch to my bow, which is usually F6, click on bow, exit - I had another annoying session of unwanted wagon access.

This is why I didn't do this when I originally implemented wagon exit proximity. Please can we revert this change, it's inconsistent and very annoying! Yes it's a couple of clicks when accessing wagon, but that's far better than having a UI screen that acts differently when within 5m of an exit. I'd do it and submit a PR, but I figured that would be rude without posting first.

Well, I hear you, happened to me too.
It's not all bad, it allows you to quickly use oil kept in your wagon; but you have to be very aware of what's going on. I'm ok with a revert on the auto-selection.
For my own usage I'll probably just reenable dungeon exit prompt though.

I wonder if the only thing really confusing here is to change the default action mode.
Do you have any problem with automatically displaying the wagon instead of nothing?

I think that's the most annoying bit yes. Happy to try the compromise if you want, but I'll need to wait for it to be in a build as i will be away from my PC.
