"Bad reaction from" enchant side effect?

What does this enchant "disadvantage" actually do? I have seen 2 different guides and both say different thing, one says it decreases your accuracy/damage against the said type of enemies, and the other say it decreases the reaction/pacification roll against the said type of enemies. So which one it actually is?

This is one of the guides with false information and then there were couple of topics(reddit, and some other place) that i found which had similar false information.

Thanks for the link - I see that guide was even being updated earlier this year; I assume the author caught the DFU bug as well. I just hope he/she reads these forums more to avoid spreading misinformation through those FAQs!

I agree, i have personally struggled with false data quite often in Daggerfall, one of my recent characters were ruined by false data at UESP, i created a character based on false information and after 20 hours of playing i found i had made him wrong due to false information. Still, for some peoples credit Daggerfall itself can be somewhat misleading now and then.

Very true - Daggerfall has some "quirky" mechanics, to put it politely. But if you do see something on UESP that's proven false for classic Daggerfall (and for DFU, when DFU doesn't specifically differ from classic), please let us know ideally at viewtopic.php?f=8&t=2514 so it can get fixed. It's definitely far from perfect, but I think UESP is the most comprehensive and reasonably accurate resource for Daggerfall and TES games in general, and I'd like to make it more so!

Here is the page with false information that ruined my character. See the spell list, there is a spell Vampiric Touch...in restoration spells and that spell is purely Destruction spell.

Not to say there aren't any errors in UESP (believe me, there are), but the page you linked and the https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Daggerfall:Destruction page appear correct here, and I don't see any recent edits - Vampiric Touch is listed on the Destruction page, and not the Restoration page. Am I missing something?
