Is hotness the main criteria?

It does feel like a departure from the original but I'm not going to be too picky since I'm certainly not able to draw them myself.

The look of the upscaled face actually reminds me of Morrowind's Dunmer faces so it's not bad in any way, I just notice that the pixel version looks more youthful but unless there's concept art of Daggerfall's Dark Elves somewhere, we won't really know if that was the intent or not.

I agree the original looks younger tho. But in ideal world, when all faces are remade, you can surely pick some young looking dark elf lady

Seeing it at true size, its mostly the shadows that cause it but its beautiful work and artists should be allowed some creative freedom. I wish I could paint like that

Now we can get this thread back on topic. Here's my main play test character Una Oakshade who's a standard archer class. You can see how the look has developed, with the final 2 being current, both casual and battle ready.

Looking great, nice progress! Save file would make me happy

Oh yeah, forgot you were asking for saves... I tend not to post saves of this character as she's actually a tribute to my mum who passed away shortly before I created this character for play testing DFU. My mother was obviously not a Wood Elf and didn't have green hair either but she was called Una. I'll PM you the save KoW, may seem silly but I feel a bit protective & attached.

Anyway, here Una when she's relaxing at home in Wildertown.

I love that people are using the cloak toggle feature to get the right look.
