Like does it have everything from the first game like quest classes and all the stuff the original?
Or is it missing stuff and if so what is missing?
How finished is this version of daggerfall?

It's more complete than you think,
In fact I'd challenge you to find something that's not in DFU.
One thing to note DFU does fix some bugs that have haunted the original game forever.. As well as running well on modern systems with near plug n play levels of accessibility.
I'd almost say for these reasons it's more complete than the original.
edit: These pages may not be perfect but they highlight some important key notes

If you're thinking about playing it, go ahead and do so. The few things left to implement are somewhat minor, and their absence certainly won't hurt your experience. I would say now's the best time to play DFU.
