Can't install mods on my Mac?

Nearly every mod I have looked at has referenced folders that I don't have anywhere on my computer. E.g.

"..Daggerfall\DaggerfallUnity_Data\StreamingAssets"

I don't have any folders on my computer with the names above, so where exactly am I suppose to install the mod/unzip the mod folders?
