I guess he likes skinny girls, so he never noticed.
My god, comrade Stalin just burns everyone with his sharp tongue and quips  Lol, pretty funny, man!

But honestly, as a guy who likes skinny girls, the missing trunk was pretty obvious to me!
I mean, the trunk is usually the thinnest part, so the absence of it makes the tree short and fat! ;)

Yep, terrain flats can get funky in winter, even in Wrothgraria.
Same spot, different angle.
Because them skinny girls just move too fast ;)
I try not to show this stuff messing up, but oh well.

Not sure what's up there (besides the foliage). Couple of questions:

Is this repeatable - if you save and exit then reload that game are these trees in the same wrong position?

If you disable the graphical mods tickbox on startup, so only classic sprites are used, does this issue still occur?

I've not seen this in my playthroughs yet, and interesting it happens mostly with winter set in your observations.

Looks like a perfectly normal Elder Scrolls tree to me. *Shrug*

:D
The bottoms cut off.
Er...Maybe re-read when awake? It's a joke about Elder Scrolls glitches. :)
Still don't get it...
Is it Toddy?

It's just the flats, taking them out fixes it.
They still float in the air where no new flats are present.
I think it's conflicting with real grass.
I just put realgrass 2.0 in and no new Flats in the Wilderness at all.
So I'm reinstalling everything.
I'll let you know.

Elder Scrolls games have a long history of visual (and other) glitches, including underwater bears, land slaughterfish, and floating trees.

For games from Morrowind on, there's unofficial patches which fix most of these.

But anyway, the joke was that mis-placed trees are the sort of things you can see in Elder Scrolls games (albeit fewer of them with each edition), so a tree glitched into the ground "looks like a perfectly ordinary (randomly glitched) Elder Scrolls tree".

A certain amount of gentle humour is common when referring to Bethesda/Elder Scrolls glitches. :) Partly because the glitches are common in part because Bethesda aims higher than almost any other company in the same general genre. :)

I get it now...
