Nope, unchanged colors. Either that, or there's a bug somewhere ;)
I actually really like the more subtle dark outlines, it almost makes the squares look circular and give it quite the different look. Even though i'm not color-blind, I quite like how those look. 50% looks the best, imo.

By the way, that's a feature you won't get with Tedious Travel until its modified copy of the travel map gets updated...
