Been awhile since I played this, and in my new game I found a magic katana, however, instead of going into the weapons and armor section, it was put into the magic items section. Is this normal? Or can it mean its a cast on use magic? I dont have it identified yet. I cant remember if such weapons exist, and at level 1, but I always though a magic weapon or armor always went into the armor and weapons inventory section, not magic items.

All enchanted items and spellbooks go under "Magic items" tab

Was the original game like that though? I dont think so, but I cant remember. It is kind of annoying for weapons and armor to go into the magic "items" tab even if they are magic. I would figure that tab was only for things like rings and marks, or wands etc.
