just wondering if anyone else thought that the factional reputation for guilds / temples / etc - should be more variable in gain depending on quest? both in terms of gain / reduction for not completing a quest. maybe something like +3 (easy), +5 (intermediate), +7 (difficult) level of quest, with proportionate reduction of reputation if you don't complete a quest?
or is this something that is fixed within the game so is difficult to implement?

Re: faction reputation and quests
It seems currently hardcoded:

There's some quest action to add or remove from the reputation with a faction, I suppose it could be used as a workaround...

Re: faction reputation and quests
It can be altered directly in each quest file. For some particularly hard quests, I increase the reputation gain for success; for quests with serious consequences I significantly increase the reputation loss. That's something I only rarely do, though.

that suits very nicely - mild variation is always good!
