For reference, when the dagger is in a red zone, classic prevents you from going further in character creation:
"The difficulty of advancing dagger cannot be in the red. Select more advantages to move it up, or more disadvantages to move it down."

Crouching through a cage is classic, and possibly intended; in this instance it looks game-breaking, but other times you can be teleported via quest to the inside of a cage and have no way out.

Excellent work catching these, pango.

I'm not able to crouch my way through cages or wooden gates in classic. But I can in DFU. I don't know if all cages or gates are the same, though. The cages I'm testing with are the ones in the first imp room in Privateer's Hold.

Enemies are scaling, and casters are starting to kick his butt, in part because Daggerfall Unity handles differently the racial paralyzation immunity + critical weakness to paralysis trick

Those are the wooden gate obstacles I'm talking about. Similar to the cages, you can slip between the bars while crouched. I think maybe the changes to crush mechanics are squeezing the pillbox a certain way and it's letting you through. But I haven't tested old versions of DFU with this, so maybe it was always there and the pillbox just needs widened.

You can, but they're consumed immediately with no sound effects or text output. Just outputting "You eat the apple." and "You drink the ale." would be sufficient to prevent people from thinking that they go in your inventory.

In my opinion, a gold sound effect should also play any time the player buys something. This sound effect plays for equipment purchases, but strangely not on food or rooms. (one for spells has already been added)

It seems it happens here because the long rest is followed by a level up; This can also happen if you modify your condition (say, cast healing spells) after being technically dead (during your fall and screen fade out). That may not be exhaustive.

Funny, I have a save of this exact area. Eventually, I think loot piles will need to be given some kind of physical status so that they are affected by gravity and moving floors the same way enemy sprites are. Is there a concern here that loot will fall through floors because of poor spawn points?
I know what's happening here. He's got his bindings flipped so that mouse0 is swing and mouse1 is activate. But gui and message window stuff don't honor these bindings, they're hard-coded to use mouse0. So his rapid clicking of mouse0 to swing is closing the window before he sees it.

This is a weird problem. I don't think people who bind like this this necessarily want to right-click or keypress in the ui. So I think click-through windows will need a 2 second timer where they can't be closed. Or we can just tell people not to bind swing to mouse0.

He died from exhaustion (the lamia attacking his stamina), then I guess he died again from suffucation because the breath meter kept going down during death scene. So it is likely to be already fixed, with breath meter fix.
