Tanto scaling

Post by jayhova »

It looks like for some reason the Tanto scales incorrectly. Does anyone know why? Is it just me or does this happen with everyone.

I didn't notice there was an issue there, but yes, I observe the same thing.
It seems it doesn't adjust (or not enough) when you enable "Enhanced item lists"
Maybe only the items that can't fit in cells are scaled down?

Might be, my MOD rings are very big in the inventory and get scaled correctly when equipped as well

The scaling behaviour scales down items too large to fit within the panel (most of them) and not scale items already small enough. It shouldn't scale up, unless the 16x inventory grid handles this differently.

I'd say the tanto is small enough to require little to no scaling, so it appears larger relative to the other items. It looks OK in the regular inventory layout which has a bit more real estate for items to fit into. It's still worth checking the 16x grid isn't scaling up though.

It shouldn't be, pretty sure it uses the exact same code as std 4x.

Did this ever get looked at? Wanna check and see if it's still on the radar.

Can confirm that even when replacing the Tanto texture via streamingAsset texture files the original, unscaled image is used.
