Never experienced that myself, but I've seen something weird in a stream too; Like something invisible preventing the player from reaching a mages guild exit door:

I wonder if that's entrance marker becoming physical
If so, it should be fixed by the next build already

If it is really the entrance marker I might have to take another look. Fixes were for missing user note markers and portals deactivation after loading.

Ah! Thanks for the precision.
Well; so far it has only been an hypothesis, so I tried to reproduce the issue, and for the moment no such luck...

It's pretty certain it's not shadows. The game logic is blissfully unaware of shadows, the game physics also. As Interkarma said, it's only a visual effect. It's just a coincidence.

I loaded the save you provided in the other thread, and on second thought it may be a slightly different problem, it seems you somehow spawned on the surface or slightly inside the door wall. It looks very similar to what happens on Lady Lilia video.
And when after loading your save I freed myself from the wall using teleport and go back to the door I didn't find any invisible object in front either, so I really think it's another issue.
Sorry for mixing them

So the problem seen in Jellykuf stream must be something different indeed
