Hud is too big (Bars and Compass) [SOLVED]

Post by FreddePride »

I'd just like to know if there is a way to scale down the HUD? (scaling down the HP Mana Stam bars and the compass)

i've been digging abit in the settings.ini but can't find anything that will change the scale.

Any help is greatly appreciated! :D

Thanks!

Welcome to the forums. :)

Is HUD too large or would you just prefer it to be smaller? These HUD elements are scaled to closely match classic size. The only real difference is that DFU positions the bars a bit tighter to bottom-left. Some comparison shots are below with classic first and DFU second.

The upcoming large HUD mode (which I need to hurry up and finish) has a scaling feature so users can manually match it to their screen dimensions and personal preference. Example below of a "mini" large HUD at 1080p.

Compass can be resized by providing two XML files:
viewtopic.php?f=22&t=427&p=3632&hilit=hud+compass#p3632

(that's what the DREAM mod uses, for example)
