"Activate Center Object" Key not working anymore.

So as the title says, my "activate" key isn't working anymore, namely for opening doors in dungeons, but if I back up far enough, and I click the key, it DOES say "You are too far away." So the game recognizes the key is bound correctly, but for some reason I can't open doors.
