I have never run those tests myself but Id recommend running another tool to confirm that report

If your mobo has an onboard GPU, see if that still works. Reseating the Geforce card into its slot is also an option or if you have a free compatible slot, try putting it in that one

Code: Select all

Random blocks: 50 failed iterations (2019276 total incorrect bits)
Yeah, other tests confirm shenanigans. No onboard GPU, so I guess I'll fiddle around with the card's slot and see what happens.

Update: Reconnected wiring in my computer, cleaned out heat sinks, etc. Number of errors increased.

Insert random garble of letters implying that the keyboard was struck with force.

Damn, I hate to say it but I think that card is dying. I hope you have or can find a replacement for cheap unless you still have warranty on it

That looks bad, but I dont get it that other games run well for you?
Sure, different games hit the HW in a different manner.

Your PC is old, judging by the CPU. I had a similar build (FX8300) and it started to malfunction like 6 months back, hard restarts.
Maybe you are facing the same doom as I was.

On the more possitive side, if you buy "just" a new Power supply, MoBo (I went with MSI B450 tomahawk) 16gb 3200mhz DDR4 ram and a ryzen cpu (I went for r5 3600) - you will enter a new world and its not THAT expensive when u use some similar components with good price/perf ratio. IF your card is dying, thats another money tho.

When I dismantled the old PC to move to the new case, I realized how ancient that build actually was  You will move from 32nm to 7nm, that 8350 is atrocious for gaming. You will realize after u upgrade, even the loading times went to 50% in my case, because there is a lot of CPU usage in the loads nowadays in many cases. And all the microstuttering I got used to - was gone.

Good luck!

Financially not an option in the foreseeable future, but I'll try to keep your recommendations in mind I guess.
