Please don't hijack other people's support topics. I'll split this to its own topic.

Your logs show a crash in the Unity runtime starting up, rather than DFU itself. The error translates to below.

Code: Select all

An attempt was made to access an invalid address.
From what I've been able to find elsewhere this error is commonly associated with Unity games on Windows 10 + AMD CPUs.

What are your main system specifications? OS, GPU, CPU, RAM?

Your post was not deleted, it was split into its own topic here. Please do not hijack other people's support topics. I have merged your other posts here also as they're all related.

I responded to your original post earlier (see above). This is not Daggerfall Unity crash, rather an issue between the Unity runtime and your system. If you can answer my question above, I'll be happy to try and assist if possible.

Thank you. :)

It's definitely Windows related: https://www.techinpost.com/attempt-to-a ... ess-error/ and not limited to Unity, the page I linked lists a couple more programs:

Photoshop
Hearthstone
Escape from tarkov
Kolbot
Subnautica

It also lists these possible causes:

Outdated Program or Windows
Adware, Malware or Spyware
Windows Firewall
Misconfigured Registry Settings
Running the program without administrator privileges
.NET Framework not updated

Check to make sure your .NET framework is up-to-date and then try running Daggerfall Unity as administrator. Where are your Daggerfall and Daggerfall Unity installations located? If they're in Program Files, move them out of there.

Thank you. :)

Based on BadLuckBurt's response above, this affects other applications under Windows, including other Unity games. It's not a Daggerfall Unity error specifically.

It's worth trying what BadLuckBurt suggested - updating your .NET framework an try running Daggerfall Unity as administrator. Some other possible solutions were in the article he linked.
