According to an e-mail I just received from Unity, the Unity Editor has a remote code execution flaw, for which a patch is now out.
Unity Hub also has patches out, and I'm updating now.

Previous experience tells me it's very easy to misunderstand the tone, intent, or meaning of what I've posted. If you have questions, ask.

More information and patch downloads can be found here.
For anyone reading along, please note this is for the Unity Editor specifically. It doesn't affect release builds of Daggerfall Unity (or any other Unity games). Developers running the Unity Editor should be patching their local versions.
As DFU is currently at 2018.2.11f1, I'm going to use the mitigation tool instead for the short term. I'll accelerate moving editor version up to 2018.2.21f1 (or 2018.3.x) in the near future.
