Yeah, afritz is apparently creating the engine from scratch. If he eventually manages to fix Arena's mind-bogglingly atrocious movement controls, I'd finally be able to get into this much underappreciated original entry in the TES series.

I was sort of hoping somebody would fork DFUnity and build it from there...

Nah, the two games are waaay too different A whole new engine would definitely be the way to go.
